We have used Darlene's vacation rentals for few times in the last 5+ years and I must say it has always exceeded all our expectations. We went to her property last week (2/13/16) and the house was simply amazing with stunning views. It was very much organized and we had an excellent stay. Darlene’s Vacation Rental stay rocked!
My husband and I enjoyed a good night's sleep on the twin beds and a nice hot shower in the mornings. The charming kitchen was very well equipped with a good stove, refrigerator, freezer and also a nice large electric griddle. We enjoyed the view, the picnic table and Adirondack chairs on the spacious deck. Our adult kids were camping with their kids and joined us for several meals, which worked out very well. The listing description was accurate and the property clean and well maintained. We would recommend this property.

We had a great time at cabin#18. The cabin was clean, simple and cozy. Our kids loved the loft and the toboggan run out back. Very peaceful place. We hope to come back soon.

The cabin we stayed in was amazing! We had such a great experience and Darlene went above and beyond making sure we got the cabin that would best fit our needs! This was our first time booking a cabin, especially one in the snow and we are excited to say that we would definitely rent the same cabin again. The location was a perfect distance away from all our destinations. Gas station/convenient store was close by for our small needs. Beautiful scenery, the driveway is perfect for loading and unloading a car. The kids loved play foosball and exploring the woods in the back of the house.

Awesome! We had an awesome time at the cabin. There was more than enough space for our large family. The top floor was perfect for all the kids. It even had a tv, foosball and air hockey table to keep them entertained. There was no wifi, which was an added plus. It forced the kids to interact and we loved the choice of classic movies. The fact that the snow was only a 10 minute drive was great. We made a day out of it. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet spot to bring the family. Take a chance and break from the norm! We have visited Darlene’s Pinecrest Cabins many times now from the valley, and have been surprisingly excited every time we visit in the winter. We have had small and large groups, (16 family members). Mostly kids and Darlene’s cabins have been great for us. We are not outdoorsy, but we have the BEST memories up there. Thanks Victor. We were busy yesterday getting ready to leave the cabin and get back to the lake and then home, so I just now had a chance to get back to you. We all wished we could have stayed longer.
